- I signed up to this because i had a free night, and this promised "mingle with a great of awesome party-people!" We all showed up at the first bar and i chatted to some other people who were also by themselves. kinda hard to mingle over the music. Then we were all told to leave to the next bar, the person i was chatting with was ahead of me, but i was stopped and asked to go back in, turns out i was in a different group. the person i was talking to probably wondered where i went. I asked if we would end up at the same place and if i'd see them again and was told yes, that was a lie. The group i was put with turned out to be 2 groups of friends. a Hen party or something, who clearly didnt want some bloke around, and a second group of friends who werent interested in talking to anyone outside thier group. So i ended up alone. Oh, and these 'bars' they take you to are cheap tiny Dive Bars playing crappy loud music, no way i was talking to anyone there. the 'free shots' they give you tasted like blackcurrent with a drop of vodka in it (or based on what the bars looked like, it might have been paint thinner). At the third bar i just walked out the front door and back to my hotel. Guys, dont fall for this like i did, you dont need these people. just open google maps, search 'bar with 1 star review' and walk there. you'll save money.
